CBT Therapy 1:1 basis - £70/hr

In our therapy sessions, we will work to solve current problems and challenge negative thinking and unhelpful behaviours which may be maintaining the difficulties with your mood.
We will discuss and practice evidence based techniques to help with your presenting difficulties. I will help you to identify unhelpful thoughts and behaviours and provide you with valuable tools to cope with life’s obstacles. I’m confident you’ll find my personalised CBT sessions helpful. HSE stats tell us that: 15.4 million working days were lost in the UK due to work related stress, depression or anxiety in  2017/2018.

595,000 workers were also suffering with work related stress, depression or anxiety in 2017/2018.

If you care about your employees wellbeing and want to teach them ways of managing their stress differently then get in touch. I offer bespoke packages to companies hoping to improve the wellbeing of their staff. Workshops include Stress Management and evidence based Mindfulness techniques. These can be adapted to your companies needs and vary in length, intensity and frequency.

ACT/MINDFULNESS Therapy 1:1 basis - £70/hr

ACT (said as one word, not as letters) is a new cognitive -behavioural therapy that emphasises processes such as mindfulness, acceptance, and values in helping clients overcome obstacles in their lives.

ACT therapy session will help you to become unstuck from processes that hinder your ability to move forward in the life direction you desire.

ACT works using the basic assumption that suffering is normal and an unavoidable part of human experience, and that it is actually people’s attempts to control or avoid their own painful experience that leads to much long-term suffering and what doesn’t work in peoples lives. ACT helps people to learn ways to let go of struggles with pain, be more mindful, get clarity on what really matters to them, and commit to living life to the full, vibrant lives. The goal of therapy is not to eliminate certain parts of one’s experience of life, but rather to learn how to experience life more fully, without as much struggle, and with vitality and commitment.
