Creating Psychological Flexibility

The Personal Development Strategists is a company started by Gemma Boyd & Sandra Ross-Cameron both registered therapists in the UK. Working with both individuals and companies, to develop positive Mental Health and Well-being.

Through the use of a number of therapies such as; Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Positive Psychology, Mindfulness, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), as well as Coaching, they work to address your individual and employees needs.

Unfortunately Gemma is no longer with us; but her beautiful memory lives on. It was a privilege to have known and worked with her.

Sandra aims, to not only find instant results, but help you to discover strategies and skills to take with you throughout your life.

A personal and unique plan will be devised specifically for each individual, and we will work together to ultimately achieve a positive outcome for you in those areas of your life that is most challenging. Working constructively and together, we give you the skills to tip the scales in favour of a positive and flexible frame of mind. Workshops have been tailor made, based on research and evidence, but the aims are the same as they are for individuals.

Sandra is fully versed in treating all anxiety disorders, depression, PTSD, OCD, Phobias , eating disorders, social issues, stress and with personal complexities.

What Is Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)?

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy is a Psychological approach based on scientific principles where clients and therapists work together to identify and understand problems in terms of the relationship between thoughts, feeling and behaviour. Leading to the identification of personalised therapy goals and strategies, which are continually monitored and evaluated.
